Cause for Applause

CAMPAIGN FOR ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE

The Provincetown Theater Foundation is pleased to introduce a major donor program that addresses the needs of our theater; capital improvements, long-term security and year-round theatrical entertainment. This is a custom designed gift-giving opportunity that can be made in a single contribution or pledged over time. I hope you’ll choose this opportunity when thinking about making a contribution to a non-profit arts organization.

Cause for Applause

Let me give you an example of how it might work.

A percentage of your donation could support the purchase of new stage drapes or much needed improvements to our outdoor signage… in general, keep our home in good working order. A percentage of your contribution could go directly into our Endowment Fund and help secure our long-term financial future, not only by increasing its investment power, but also by the operating funds it kicks off in interest during the leaner off-season months. What is great is that your gift doesn’t have to end there. A percentage of your contribution could also go towards what you see on stage and the courses our students, young and old, take throughout the year. Not only does your generosity keep our theater operating and spectacular looking but also alive with music, dance, comedy and drama, all the while providing a solid future for generations of theater goers to come.

Please call 508-487-7487×4 to design a unique gift-giving plan, with your personal preferences and financial situation in mind. This is a custom gift giving opportunity. We will work with you to see where and how you’d like your money to help the New Provincetown Players and the Provincetown Theater. You can choose any percentage of your gift to match a capital improvement goal, help secure our long-term future (Endowment) or to the production of plays, festivals and musicals. If you’d like your contribution to be restricted to only one of the above, we can do that too!

Please consider becoming a major donor by supporting this program. Again, you can contribute in one lump sum or pledge over time. It’s up to you.

Call us. We’ll tell you about the upcoming season, the goals and dreams of the New Provincetown Players, the needs of the theater building itself and how having an endowment can make all the difference in those lean winter months. Or just to talk. No hard sell. We love what we do here and we hope you will too.
