SPRING AND FALL PLAYWRIGHTS’ FESTIVAL

As an integral part of its mission, the Provincetown Theater Company is committed to fostering the development of new work by established and emerging playwrights with our Spring and Fall Playwrights’ Festivals.

Twice yearly, the Provincetown Theater Company produce readings and memorized performances of new plays by writers from Cape Cod, New England and across the United States and Canada. The festivals also offer workshops in playwriting, acting and directing and often feature panel discussions and audience feedback sessions as part of its schedule.

Now in its fourteenth year, the festivals continue to reflect Provincetown’s rich heritage as a home for the development of exciting new works of theatrical art. Poised to grow, the company’s goal is to attract visitors and theater professionals from all points north, east, south and west to Provincetown in the off and shoulder seasons.
